This 2-day sniper-level course was developed by experienced SWAT and U.S. Army Green Beret sniper instructors, tailored for law enforcement snipers, military/designated marksmen, PRS competitors, and serious civilian shooters. Hosted at the rugged 100-acre Sierra 1 Site near Heber, AZ, it’s built to sharpen your ability to engage targets with confidence in shifting wind and terrain.
What you’ll learn:
This course dives deep into environmental adaptation, external ballistics, and advanced marksmanship:
- Rifle setup, scope zeroing, and tracking verification
- Body mechanics: NPA, recoil control, breathing, trigger work
- Ballistics data: chronograph, Kestrel, DOPE cards, ballistic apps
- Wind reading: mirage, terrain cues, vegetation, and full-value formulas
- Real-world scenarios: stress shooting, rapid wind calls, and unknown distance
How it’s delivered:
Live-fire instruction in small teams with coach-led drills, scenario-based engagements, and spotter-shooter teamwork. Students will shoot from varied terrains with real-time feedback.
Where and what you’ll shoot:
Engagements from 300 to 1,000 meters with unknown distance targets, gusting wind, and shaded-to-sun transitions. Includes elevated and angled shots.

- AR10 or bolt gun (no green tip or AP ammo)
- 400 rounds
- Scope with 10x+ magnification recommended
- Bipod, rear bag, rifle rest, Kestrel, and spotting scope
