Tactical Vision

This 8-hour classroom-based course is built for police officers who need to improve observation under routine and high-stress conditions. Tactical Vision focuses on perceptual blindness, the mechanics of vision, and how visual limitations affect officer performance and safety.

Instruction is centered on showing officers how to become more deliberate observers, then giving them tools to continue that work after class. Students learn how visual processing breaks down, how to recognize those limits in themselves, and how to apply better observation habits to investigations, service calls, and driving, including pursuit situations. The course also includes a proprietary CD with more than 50 exercises for continued practice and maintenance of observation skills.
