Snipercraft Northwest in Tacoma, WA, delivers elite police sniper training led by veteran SWAT snipers Mike Bertucci and Phil Glover, backed by 40+ years of operational experience.


Snipercraft Northwest is a law-enforcement-only sniper training academy led by two of the most seasoned SWAT snipers in the Pacific Northwest: Mike Bertucci and Phil Glover. Based out of, WA, the school is staffed entirely by active and retired police snipers with more than four decades of combined field, leadership, and instructional experience. Their mission is straight forward: Build highly capable, professional police snipers who can perform reliably under real operational conditions.
Bertucci brings 25+ years of police service, 21 years on a regional SWAT team, and more than 1,000 sniper missions as a team leader. Glover has over 30 years of experience in law enforcement. Together, they deliver one of the most operationally grounded training programs available to police snipers in the Northwest.
Training is built around current deployment data and supported by the American Sniper Association (ASA) and the Washington State Tactical Officers Association (WSTOA). Instruction focuses on the realities of police sniper work—urban overwatch, intel gathering, decision-making under legal constraints, and precision engagement in populated environments.
