This advanced program pushes experienced police and corrections snipers beyond fundamentals and into the realities of operational precision work. You'll refine rifle data from 100 to 600 yards (or further depending on the facility), tighten your ballistic understanding, and work through complex engagements that force you to think, adapt, and execute under pressure.
Training centers on the shots and scenarios that matter: positional shooting from barriers, rapid engagements on movers, unconventional body positions, and maintaining stability in compromised terrain. Tactics and communication are sharpened through scenario-based drills that mirror modern callouts, team operations, and problem-solving from the hide.
Expect long days on the glass. You'll manage your kit, record data, run your rifle in all weather, and apply disciplined observation, reporting, and follow-up shot standards. This is a course built for assigned team snipers who already own the basics and want to elevate their operational confidence.
Students must arrive physically prepared; the Sniper Functional Fitness Test is required and sets the tone for the week's intensity. Gear demands mirror real-world deployments: a duty-ready rifle capable of 1 MOA, a magnified optic, a bipod, a tripod, load-bearing equipment, and 500 rounds of match ammunition.
Ideal for active LE/corrections snipers seeking higher-level capability and readiness. Limited seats; early booking strongly recommended.
