Phil Glover is a 30-year law enforcement veteran and longtime SWAT sniper team leader, co-running Sniper Craft Northwest and delivering advanced sniper instruction to tactical officers across the region.


Phil Glover is the Co-Owner and Lead Trainer at Snipercraft Northwest, bringing more than three decades of law enforcement service and deep SWAT experience to his students. Born and raised in Washington State, Phil has spent his entire life in the Seattle–Tacoma area. After earning his bachelor’s degree in Society and Justice from the University of Washington, he began a law enforcement career that now spans over 30 years.
Phil spent 27 years on a regional SWAT team, 24 of them in sniper and sniper team leader roles. His operational background is broad, having served as a patrol officer, field training officer, firearms instructor, major crimes detective, narcotics detective, patrol sergeant, and, most recently, patrol commander.
He has taught in Washington State’s basic sniper schools and has served as an adjunct instructor for Derrick Bartlett of Snipercraft. Phil is known for explicit instruction, a real-world craft of law-enforcement sniping for both new and experienced tactical officers.
