Precision Long Range Hunting Course

K&M’s Precision Long Range Hunting Course is a two-day program designed for hunters seeking to extend their effective range and make accurate, ethical shots in real-world conditions. The course focuses on marksmanship fundamentals, ballistic understanding, and field-ready shooting skills at distances ranging from 100 to 1,000 yards, with most shots occurring between 200 and 600 yards.

Students receive hands-on instruction in a fast-paced format, covering equipment setup, wind reading, ballistic software, range estimation, positional shooting, and engaging moving targets. Practical stress shoots and simulated animal targets reinforce decision-making and shot placement under field conditions.

Each student is assigned a K&M Custom GA Precision rifle and Hornady match ammo, ensuring training consistency and reducing equipment-related limitations. Students may also alternate between the house rifle and their hunting rifle to build ballistic profiles and gain confidence with both systems.

Training is conducted across 12+ ranges at the world-renowned K&M Shooting Complex. Instructor-to-student ratios are kept at 4:1 or better, with coaching from veteran hunters, military snipers, and PRS competitors. All necessary gear is included with the house rifle rental.

Required: use of the K&M house rifle and 120 rounds of Hornady match ammo. Personal rifles are welcome for alternate use, with approval.
