VEHICLE HIDE COURSE

This 2-day course equips law enforcement snipers with the knowledge and practical skills to construct, occupy, and operate from a concealed vehicle-based hide.

This course helps snipers avoid common pitfalls associated with first-time vehicle hide use by applying field-tested techniques drawn from real-world operations, both stateside and overseas.

Course Structure:

• Day 1: Classroom instruction on vehicle hide theory, site selection, material use, and tactical considerations
• Day 2: Field-based application with your assigned or designated vehicle, constructing and testing various hides

• How to select and build hides inside SUVs or trucks
• Concealment tactics for windows, barrels, optics, and movement

Gear Requirements:

• Precision rifle (1 MOA or better, up to .338) with quality optic
• 200 rounds match ammo
• Assigned or suitable surveillance vehicle (SUV or crew cab truck preferred)
• Tripod, bipod, rear support, sling, laser rangefinder, protective field gear
