Chris is a retired Air Force Chief Master Sergeant, law enforcement firearms instructor, PRS competitor, and gunsmithing specialist focused on long-range precision shooting, rifle accuracy, and mentoring developing shooters.
Chris combines military leadership, law enforcement experience, competitive precision shooting, and advanced gunsmithing knowledge into a well-rounded approach to long-range rifle instruction. Raised in rural Kansas, his passion for the outdoors began with hunting, fishing, and competitive clay shooting before evolving into precision rifle competition and rifle building.
A retired Air Force Chief Master Sergeant, Chris also served in law enforcement with the Bentley and Kechi Police Departments, where he became a certified handgun and carbine instructor and served on a multi-agency Special Response Team. He later founded Kansas Arms Supply, LLC, where his focus expanded into precision reloading, rifle building, and long-range shooting.
In 2024, Chris completed one-on-one training with renowned rifle builder Gordy Gritters at the Extreme Accuracy Institute, deepening his expertise in chambering and building highly accurate precision rifles.
Chris is also an accomplished PRS competitor, earning multiple Midwest MIL/LEO finishes, PRS Finale qualifications, and numerous top regional match placements. His instruction emphasizes practical precision shooting, rifle performance, and helping shooters build confidence behind the gun.
