Pete is a 25-year veteran of law enforcement and Gunsite Range Master, with a background in SWAT sniping and extensive experience teaching pistol, carbine, rifle, and shotgun courses since 2010.
Pete is a seasoned law enforcement veteran with over 25 years in a suburban Philadelphia police department, currently serving as Captain and overseeing all operations. His background includes leading the department’s firearms training and use-of-force programs, serving as a department armorer, and working as a sniper on a multijurisdictional SWAT team.
Pete is a certified law enforcement firearms instructor in pistol, shotgun, and carbine, and holds additional instructor certifications in multiple less-lethal force options. A lifelong hunter and shooter, he brings both real-world tactical experience and instructional depth to every class.
Since 2010, Pete has been part of the instructor cadre at Gunsite Academy in Paulden, Arizona, the premier firearms training facility in America. He was promoted to Range Master in 2017 and regularly teaches across pistol, carbine, rifle, and shotgun disciplines. Pete’s thorough approach, rooted in years of experience, guarantees students receive reliable and practical instruction.
