Designed for hunters preparing for safari or big game expeditions, this course helps you dial in field-ready shooting skills under the guidance of seasoned safari veterans and registered hunting guides. You’ll fine-tune your rifle setup, sling usage, and ammo management while learning to communicate effectively with your guide or professional hunter.

Instruction emphasizes practical field positions, including the use of shooting sticks and expedient rests for rapid, stable engagements. You’ll work distances out to 300 yards and beyond with unknown distance targets, plus run dynamic drills on Gunsite’s outdoor simulators and engage a moving target to simulate real-world scenarios.

Expect hands-on coaching across various terrains, tailored for trophy hunts and real backcountry encounters. Magnum calibers are allowed but cannot be used on steel targets, so plan accordingly.
