Advanced PREcision Rifle

Advanced Precision Rifle builds directly on Gunsite’s PR7 foundation, pushing experienced shooters into real-world ballistic problem-solving under stress. This course emphasizes adaptability, advanced equipment use, and technical precision across a variety of scenarios.

You’ll learn to:

• Calibrate and deploy ballistic software
• Integrate laser rangefinders and apply field zeroing techniques
• Master point-blank zero (PBZ) for varied engagement distances
• Engage targets from unconventional and restricted positions
• Self-spot and make on-the-fly corrections
• Shoot moving targets at extended ranges and from moving platforms
• Operate under night conditions using thermal and I² night vision devices

Expect complex field problems with multiple target engagements under time pressure. Students are encouraged to bring their real-world challenges to work through during the open-format segments.

This is a moderate physical course requiring comfort in kneeling, seated, and prone positions. Precision gear requirements are strict; this is not a hunting course. High-grade rifles and optics are essential. Rentals are available if needed.
