This 3-day leadership course prepares experienced LE snipers to build, mentor, and manage sniper teams. Focused on team structure, equipment acquisition, and agency advocacy—ideal for those stepping into instructor or command-level sniper roles.


The Clagett Sniper Team Leader Course is a three-day leadership-focused program developed from over 30 years of real-world law enforcement and combat sniper experience.
Participants will gain insight into the critical but often overlooked responsibilities of team leaders, including sniper selection, mentoring, equipment acquisition, proposal writing, and internal advocacy within the political structure of law enforcement agencies. You’ll learn how to build and sustain a professional sniper cadre capable of supporting SWAT missions with relevance, versatility, and strategic value.
This is not a high-volume shooting course. Attendees are expected to possess already strong rifle skills and a working knowledge of sniper operations.
